Move the City: Cultural Expression as Civic Dialogue is an interactive workshop that explores how artists and city government can work together using performance, movement, and cultural expression as tools for civic engagement. Influenced by Boston's Caribbean and Latin American communities, participants respond to civic questions through music, gesture, and making to transform lived experience into qualitative data to inform civic and policy change. The session prototypes a more dynamic, relational model for gathering community input and shaping how cities can listen and collaborate with diverse communities.
