Hosted by the Cultural Equity Incubator, “Re:Action Red Sun Press and Radical Life in Boston 1974-2025” curated by former member & worker Paul Normandia of Red Sun Press, will exhibit posters produced in their 50 year history.
Red Sun Press was organized in 1974 to support an anti-capitalist movement for political,
economic and social change. Printing and publishing materials that other companies shied away
from, Red Sun was able to grow among community of progressive individuals and organizations
that shared its mission. This show features a sampling of posters produced at Red Sun Press over the course of its
50 year history. As some of the most visually engaging products to come off the presses, the
pieces here represent a distillation of Red Sun’s work. They were chosen to highlight the many
forms of radical life and ideas from over a half century in and around Boston.
